Highway Worker I
◾Six (6) months preferred experience in civil construction work
◾High school diploma or GED equivalent
◾Must have a valid driver’s license, Class B CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Highway Worker II
◾Two (2) years experience in civil construction work
◾High school diploma or GED equivalent
◾Must have a valid Class B CDL
The Public Works Department is responsible for administering all construction activities within county public rights-of-way and maintaining and improving the county’s infrastructure, including roadways, bridges, and drainage facilities.
