Summary

The Day / Evening Truck Driver will be responsible for hauling water to and from locations, as well as moving support equipment in the yard and hauling equipment as needed.

Essential Functions
•Works in a safe, healthy and environmentally protective manner
•Hauls water and/or tanks to location
•Abides by all state and federal DOT laws
•Ensures all required paperwork is in their truck
•Keeps trip sheets, interstate mileage records, and logbooks
•Performs housekeeping and light maintenance on units they drive
•Maintains pre-trip inspection records
•Understands and is accountable for making sure the equipment being operated is maintained and safe
•Understands and is responsible for enforcement of safety policies
•Obeys all highway laws, including speed limits and seat belt laws
•Performs and is responsible for properly securing load and other equipment on truck / trailer
•Reports and corrects all unsafe work practices and safety hazards
•Operates Ensign Well Service trucks and may load or change equipment on truck, in a safe courteous manner
•Works as a team member with the rest of the truck department demonstrating a high level of efficiency during trucking operations
•Reports and corrects any unsafe work practices and safety hazards
•Participates in all safety programs, processes and requirements
•Attends Operations Training up to two times per year and up to five days per training at designated locations
•Performs other duties as directed by management

Qualifications

If hired, you will be required to:
•be at least 18 years of age
•pass a post-offer physical examination, fitness testing, safety and aptitude tests, drug tests & background check
•provide proof of and maintain proper legal authorization to work in the United States
•arrange for reliable transportation to and from work and training locations
•speak and read English well enough to understand verbal and written safety postings, alerts and announcements, communicate with co-workers and be able to participate in job safety analysis meetings
•maintain a CDL Class A plus tank endorsement license and meet Ensign Insurance Requirements to drive
•have a minimum of 1 year CDL Class A experience
