As a driver for SCI Equipment, you will be responsible for making deliveries of equipment & materials to our jobsites. You will help maintain the warehouse & yard, and perform duties specific to the running of the Saunders equipment yard and warehouse.

Functions / Duties
Operate vehicles & equipment in a safe & courteous manner at all times.
Compliant with CDL and/or DOT regulations as applicable.
Safely load/unload & deliver equipment & materials.
Conduct regular and/or spot inventories of equipment, tools & materials.
Perform basic equipment service tasks.
Maintain accurate records, logs and inventories.
Perform warehouse/yard procedures & techniques; sorting, stacking, banding, etc.
May be subject to overtime on an as needed basis.
Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities / Qualifications / Experience
Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record. CDL Class A or B license is preferred or the willingness & ability to acquire a CDL license shortly after hire.
Able to work safely & productively without direct supervision.
Conduct a methodical examination reaching logical conclusions.
Maintain information in written & electronic formats. Familiar with basic computer programs; Word, Excel, Outlook, mobile applications, etc.
Arrange, coordinate, or schedule time and details.
Communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in writing.
Maintain and inspect operating vehicle on daily basis.

Physical Demands

The following are some of the physical demands commonly associated with this position:

Spends approximately 20% of the time sitting, and 80% of the time either standing or walking while on the job.
Frequently* lifts up to 100 lbs, when moving equipment.
Frequently required to climb, crawl, stoop and negotiate ladders, stairs or other routes at and within project sites in order to fulfill duties.
Frequently uses verbal and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as E-Mail, telephone and radio.
Frequently employs eye, hand and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery such as computer keyboard.
Frequently utilizes full scope of visual capacity to travel to project sites and observe/verify project progress in addition to operating automated office equipment.
Constantly Activity exists more than 2/3 of the time
Frequently Activity exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
Occasionally Activity exists less than 1/3 of the time.

Pay: $19/hour

Company paid cell phone allowance, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance and negotiable wage.
