Class A CDL-A OTR Truck Driver Job
We are a growing, privately owned company based in Monroe, North Carolina, looking for an experienced and dependable CDL-A OTR Driver to join our operation. This is our first dedicated OTR driving position, and we are looking for a professional driver who takes pride in their equipment, communicates well, operates safely, and is interested in building a long-term relationship with a company where they will be known and valued.
$0.65 CPM-ALL dispatched miles - loaded and empty
Up to $0.68 CPM - with weekly-earned performance bonus
$1,300/week - guarantee for first 90 days
Drivers can earn an additional $0.03 CPM performance bonus, bringing total mileage compensation to as much as $0.68 CPM. The bonus is earned weekly based on safety, attendance/reliability, and performance/equipment care. Earned bonuses are accumulated and paid monthly.

Additional stops- $25 per additional stop
Detention - $20/hour after 2 hours
Layover - $100 per qualifying 24-hour period
Breakdown - $100 per qualifying 24-hour period
Clean DOT inspection - $150
Wellness Monthly Bonus - $300/month after 90 days
Pay frequency- Weekly
Two Paid Weeks Off at Christmas
Our operation closes for two consecutive weeks over Christmas. After 90 days of continuous employment, the driver receives $1,400 per week for two weeks - $2,800 total paid Christmas time off.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) CDL-A driving experience
Clean driving record
Valid Class A CDL and ability to meet all applicable DOT qualification requirements
No smoking or vaping in company equipment
No passengers
No pets
Dependable attendance and availability
Professional communication with ownership, dispatch, customers, and facilities
Proper inspection and responsible care of company equipment
Accurate and timely completion of logs, paperwork, BOLs, and trip documentation
The no-smoking, no-passenger, and no-pet policies apply to company equipment and are conditions of the position.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced COL-A driver who is safe, professional, reliable, and takes pride in the truck they operate. Because this is a small operation, communication and reliability are extremely important. You will not be driver number 500 in a fleet. You will have direct communication with ownership and the opportunity to help shape the operation as we grow.
Performance Bonus
+$0.01 CPM - Safety: Safe operation, regulatory compliance, required inspections, and responsible reporting.
+$0.01 CPM -Attendance & Reliability: Dependable availability, on-time dispatch, and good communication.
+$0.01 CPM - Performance & Equipment: Timely pickups and deliveries, accurate paperwork, good communication, and responsible care of company equipment.
Each week is evaluated independently. Missing one bonus category during one week does not eliminate the driver's opportunity to earn the other categories or to earn the full bonus the following week.
Layover & Breakdown Protection
Layover Pay: $100 per qualifying 24-hour period when the driver is available and ready for dispatch but is required to remain away from home without productive dispatch for 24 consecutive hours or more due to circumstances outside the driver's control.
Breakdown Pay: $100 per qualifying 24-hour period when a company-equipment mechanical failure prevents the driver from continuing a dispatched trip or being available for productive dispatch for 24 consecutive hours or more, provided the issue was not caused by driver negligence or misuse.
