Class A Urgently Hiring - Class A, CDL Driver Job
We are looking for an experienced Class A, CDL truck driver to haul heavy equipment across the State of Texas. All vehicles will be provided by the company as well as ANY necessary training needed to perform the job safely. We are a demo/abatement company and have been in business since 2002.
Job Type: Full-time
Workdays: Monday-Friday (home on the weekends)
Work Location: Multiple locations around the State of Texas
Overtime when applicable
Year-round work
Experience of Truck driving: 1 year required
License: CDL-A (required)
Must be able to drive a F-750, Freightliner, a manual Dump truck, or a Bucket truck.
Responsibilities:
Transport equipment such as: Excavators, End Dumps, Skid Steers, Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and other miscellaneous debris and tree trunks.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and preform preventative maintenance.
Document and log work/rest period, miles spent driving, and retain fuel/toll receipts.
Comply with trucking rules and regulations (size, weight, route destinations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Report defects, accidents, or violations.
Skills:
Proven work experience as a truck driver.
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.)
Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
Valid CDL-A license

Pay: $30-$32 depending on experience
