Class A Class A CDL Flatbed Drivers Job
Plan most direct route to ensure most economical use of time and equipment
Perform required pre and post trip inspections per company policy and refer defects or repairs to maintenance.
Ensure load securement meets Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company policy.
Both electronic and paper logs must be kept current and shall be completed to Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.
Report via macro all status changes including but not limited to: arrival time at shipper/consignee, loaded/unloaded, and on detention or any problem getting loaded or unloaded.
Arrive at consignee/shipper at appointed time
Efficient tarping/un-tarping of loads as required by the customer.
Maintain a neat and reasonable appearance.
Paperwork shall be completed correctly and turned in
Perform all duties using appropriate safety standards and in conformance to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, State/Local laws, and company policies.
Perform all other duties as assigned by dispatch.
