Class A Dedicated Tracy, CA to Tucumcari, NM. FedEx Team Driver Home Weekly Job
At JAK Logistics I am seeking one full time professional Class A team driver with doubles endorsements who wants consistent miles and weekly home time. Our dedicated Tracy, CA to Tucumcari, NM bump run is the easiest job in trucking. No touch freight - all drop and hook with great home time. No owner operators. Starting on Wednesdays, this run completes two turns from the Tracy FedEx hub to Tucumcari, NM to meet a bump team where you will swap trailer(s) and return back to Tracy. 4,864 total miles weekly. When the weather is bad the run will route to Van Horn, TX instead. The truck is parked in Sacramento so you will bobtail to Tracy to start the week then bobtail back to Sacramento from Tracy at the end of the week. You are paid for that commute each way. If you choose to run out of Tracy, no problem. Your codriver will meet you in Tracy. This is not a local position, this is a TEAM position where you will be home weekly. You must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training and the new hire onboarding process, which can be done from any smartphone.

Pay:
$1,500 sign on bonus at 90 days. $2,000 sign on bonus at 90 days for active and current FedEx drivers. CPM raise effective after 90 days.
Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
Detention time paid when there is detention time.
Monthly cell phone payment available.
FedEx approved active drivers/drivers currently working for FedEx are strongly preferred. Otherwise qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements:
Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
Minimum of 1 year of tractor trailer experience required. If you do not have doubles experience you can be trained.
You must be dependable, with transportation to and from the Sacramento or Tracy yard. You must be ready to show up on time every week with no call offs. You must be willing to adhere to all FedEx and company policies.

Your truck is a 12 speed automatic 2024 Freightliner with a DD15 engine, refrigerator, microwave, and power inverter. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
