A recent report from the Motley Fool suggests that CDL driver pay and home time are deciding factors for truck drivers:
"It turns out that drivers don't really care about a company's reputation as long as they get a hefty paycheck".
No kidding?

Why should truck drivers be different from anyone else? 

Drivers need to support their families AND spend time with them. Some drivers don't mind being away from home, as long as they get paid to do so.
One of the biggest issues facing the trucking industry is Hours of Service.
Truck drivers are not allowed to work more than 70 hours a week. Who works 70 hours a week?
